Pocola Indian Little League Football

Football/cheer signup forms are being sent home today with your child. Please fill out the form and put payment along with form in an envelope with your child’s name and send back to school. I will pick them up next week.

Football will start in mid to late July. Make sure and follow the page and GroupMe for updates.

Indians with the big win against Pawnee last night. A great hard fought football game that took all 48 minutes. Indians advance to the quarter finals and will head to Fairview next Friday.

Little Indians play in the SUPER BOWL at Eufala tonight 8U kicks off at 4pm. 10U will follow at 5:30 and 12U will follow 10U at 7pm. Please come out and support these players and coaches. A lot of hard work and tough practices to get where they are.

What a great weekend for our Pocola Indians. Little league had homecoming and the town packed the house. The environment was insane and all 3 teams were able to pull out wins, and move to 5-0. Thank you to all that showed up I don’t know that I have ever seen that place so packed on a Saturday morning. Homecoming is extremely stressful, just because so much goes into it, and we want the kids to have the best experience possible.

I want to thank everyone involved in our little league for putting so much effort and energy into it. Thank you to our cheer group for yet another amazing homecoming. There are so many people that I want to thank, but I will forget someone, so thank you ALL!!

Highschool homecoming is this week and Friday night is going to be electric. The Indians will host the number 1 team in the state and last years state champion. Let’s bring the whole dang town Friday night!

Great week for pocola football. Highschool had a bye week and spent the week getting ready for le flore country rival Spiro bulldogs! Pocola will be electric Friday night coming off their bye, you will not want to miss this one. 7pm kick off at Pocola.

Little league took on heavener wolves Saturday morning with some big wins.

All 3 teams took care of business
8U 62-0
10U 50-0
12U 48-0

Our 1-2 grade boys had the early morning game a 8:45am and was fired up to get on the field. They took on Mansfield and looked great with a 38-6 win.

Little league will be doing a trunk or treat Friday night Oct 31 from 4-6. The Indians will be hosting the Panama Razorbacks that night. If you want to help out and put a trunk in get with Josh Merritt or Kelly cox.

Reminder:
Conditioning tonight 7:30-9:00 if you are at VBS come after VBS.

Wear helmets only and if you do not have equipment you need to have it by the end of this week. I will be there at 7 tonight to if you need anything before we start practice.

Do not come without a water bottle and drink tons of water today. Fluids fluids fluids!!!!

It will continue to get harder these next few days.

I will send out reminders everyday of what we are doing each day so know one will miss anything.

If you have VBS today please go to VBS and come to practice after.

Signups and equipment checkout 7-8 pm tonight this will be done at the annex building across the street from the high school football field.

Conditioning will start at 8pm and go till 9pm. Wear shorts, T shirt, cleats, and your helmet. Do not come to practice without a water bottle or a water. Drink tons of water today. (All day). These next couple weeks will be really tough and the heat won’t help. Fluids fluids fluids!!!
