Today we celebrate the symbol that unites us all—the American flag.

On Flag Day, we honor the stars and stripes that have flown alongside generations of service members, veterans, and citizens who have dedicated themselves to our nation.

At Idaho Honor Flight, we are especially grateful for the veterans whose sacrifices helped preserve the freedoms our flag represents.

Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

On this D-Day anniversary, we honor the brave men and women of the World War II generation whose service helped secure freedom for future generations. Their actions changed the course of history, and their legacy continues to inspire us today.

To all of our World War II Veterans: Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your example. We will never forget.

We are excited to be hosting Legacy of Honor: A Night in the Hangar on June 6 - D-Day! Our night will have guest speakers from Eastern Idaho who have been on an Honor Flight Network mission with other hubs to talk about their experience, telling you about our mission, and raising funds to send veterans to Washington D.C.
