As this new year begins, we pause with full hearts and deep gratitude.

To the dispatchers who are the steady voice in chaos, guiding help when seconds matter most—thank you. To our law enforcement officers who stand the line between safety and danger, protecting communities at all hours—thank you. To the firefighters who run toward the flames, risking everything to save lives, homes, and hope—thank you.

To the EMTs and paramedics who arrive in the most critical moments, bringing calm, skill, and lifesaving care when lives hang in the balance—thank you. To the doctors and nurses who carry the weight of healing, offering compassion, endurance, and expertise to those in need—thank you. And to our military personnel, who serve with unwavering courage and sacrifice to protect freedoms at home and abroad—thank you.

While the world celebrates a new year, your work never pauses. You miss holidays, family moments, and rest so that others may live, heal, and feel safe. Your service is not just a job—it is a calling, one built on sacrifice, strength, and heart.

As the year unfolds, we honor not only what you do, but who you are. We recognize the toll your service takes, we lift up your families, and we stand firmly in gratitude and support for all you give.

Please be advised of the following temporary road closures and traffic restrictions that will be in effect for the upcoming event:

From 12:00 PM on December 31, 2025 through 2:00 AM on January 1, 2026

🔴 ROAD CLOSURES
East Lander Street (North 4th Avenue ➝ North 2nd Avenue): Closed to thru traffic
North 3rd Avenue (East Fremont Street ➝ East Clark Street): Closed completely
Alleyway entrance to East Lander Street from East Clark Street: Closed completely

🔴 Red Arrows: Roads closed in the indicated direction
🟡 Yellow Arrows: Roads closed to thru traffic only
🟢 Lime Green: Vendor parking areas

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
The Fireworks Staging Area (Dark Purple) is CLOSED AND RESTRICTED starting at 8:00 PM. No public access will be permitted for safety reasons.
