History was made at the 2026 Idaho International Choral Festival as the Chorus of Change from Kazakhstan became the first choir from their country to participate in the festival!

Sharing the rich musical heritage of Kazakhstan, Chorus of Change captivated audiences with beautiful performances of traditional music from their homeland. Their voices carried the stories, culture, and traditions of Kazakhstan across the stage.

We are grateful to Chorus of Change for traveling so far to share their culture, friendship, and incredible talent with our festival family. Your music helped make this an unforgettable celebration of voices from around the world!

A favorite tradition of the Idaho International Choral Festival is our casual noontime concerts on the quad at Idaho State University, where audiences can enjoy world-class choral music in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

At the 2026 festival, the Spring Women’s Choir from San Jose, California, delighted concertgoers with a beautiful and expressive performance. Their rich harmonies and heartfelt singing filled the air, creating a memorable musical moment in the middle of the day.

🎶 Thank You, Idaho International Choral Festival 🎶

As the final concert came to a close, our journey at the Idaho International Choral Festival also reached its beautiful conclusion. For the Salt Lake Chinese Choir, this marked our very first time participating in an international choral festival, and it is an experience we will cherish for years to come.

Over the past few days, we shared not only our music, but also our culture, our stories, and our hearts. Through music, we met friends from around the world. Though we came from different countries, spoke different languages, and carried different traditions, we discovered that music has the remarkable ability to bring us together as one.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us throughout this journey. Thank you to every audience member who attended our concerts, to everyone who offered words of encouragement, and to the musicians and conductors from around the world who shared such generous praise. Your kindness and support mean more to us than words can express.

This festival was more than a series of performances. It was a celebration of friendship, cultural exchange, and the joy of making music together. The friendships we built over these unforgettable days will not end with the closing concert. They will remain with us as some of the most precious memories of our lives.

Thank you, Idaho International Choral Festival, for giving us the opportunity to share our voices with the world and to remind us that music truly transcends borders.

Until we meet again, may our songs continue to connect us, wherever life takes us. ❤️

During our Gala Concert on Saturday night, the IICF Leadership Team presented each choir with a certificate and their very own Spuddy Buddy (Idaho's mascot and good will ambassador). We told them that their Spuddy Buddy would watch over them with his many eyes and remind them that our hearts are with them wherever they go. We asked them to send us pictures of them on their adventures with Spuddy Buddy.

Dagilelis of Lithuania was the first to send pics with their Spuddy Buddy. They're in Yellowstone National Park. What a great first adventure with their Spuddy! Travel safely, friends. Our hearts are with you.
