We are proud to recognize Jed Townsend & Mckinley Miller for receiving a scholarship from the Eastern Idaho State Fair! 🎉 Through their involvement in 4-H, they have demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. This scholarship is a well-deserved honor, and we congratulate them on this outstanding achievement. Way to go, Jed & Mckinley! 🍀💚

The Eastern Idaho State Fair, in partnership with Butler Amusements, Inc., is proud to announce the 2026 Scholarship recipients. After reviewing an impressive group of applicants, the committee chose to award eight scholarships this year—expanding beyond the traditional six to recognize students who exemplify the spirit of the Fair community both within and beyond 4‑H and FFA.
This year’s recipients are: Jed Townsend, Elizabeth Murdock, Mckinley Miller, Tymber Billman, Megan Biorn, Kate Barney, and Aspen Boice. Not pictured: Carter Moore. Winners and their families were honored at a special dinner hosted by the Fair Board on May 14. Looking ahead, the 2027 scholarship application will open January 1 and is available to graduating seniors across 16 counties who participate in the Eastern Idaho State Fair.
