NeighborWorks® Pocatello is proud to be part of Idaho Gives, and we’re grateful for the support our community has shown so far.

This year, funds raised through Idaho Gives will directly benefit Spirit of Hope House, our transitional housing program for men working to rebuild their lives after incarceration. Through this program, we are able to provide a safe, stable environment along with the everyday essentials that make a real difference, including bedding, towels, hygiene products, household items, bus passes, and ongoing maintenance and repair of the home.

At NeighborWorks Pocatello, we believe strong neighborhoods are built by supporting people. Spirit of Hope House is one way we are helping create pathways to stability, employment, and long-term independence.

NeighborWorks® Pocatello is proud to share that former Executive Director Mark Dahlquist has been honored with the Richard H. Stallings Lifetime Achievement Award at the National NeighborWorks Association Awards Dinner on April 23.

This award is one of the highest honors in the NeighborWorks network, recognizing a career defined by exceptional service, meaningful impact, and a deep commitment to strengthening communities. It is especially meaningful as it is named after Richard H. Stallings, a former U.S. Congressman and past leader of NeighborWorks Pocatello.

Mark served as Executive Director for 19 years, leading the organization through a period of tremendous growth and impact. During his tenure, NeighborWorks Pocatello expanded housing opportunities, strengthened neighborhood partnerships, and delivered programs that improved quality of life across southeast Idaho. His leadership, vision, and ability to bring people together left a lasting mark on our organization and community.

Today, Mark continues his service as Mayor of Pocatello, carrying forward his commitment to the people of this community.
