❤️ Tackle Hunger with SIYFL! 🏈

We’re proud to host our 2nd Annual SIYFL Championship Games Food Drive!

As we come together to celebrate our athletes and our community, let’s also come together to support local families facing food insecurity. Every nonperishable food donation, big or small, can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Please consider bringing canned goods or other nonperishable food items to help put food on the tables of families in need. Together, we can spread kindness and show what it truly means to be part of a community.

Let’s come together and tackle hunger! ❤️🏈

Thank you for helping SIYFL make a difference!

🤝 A Message from the League
As we head into high-stakes playoff territory, we want to emphasize that player safety, good sportsmanship, and a fun environment are our absolute priorities. League Directors work closely with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Department to handle any disruptive or unsafe spectator behavior immediately.

Finally, please take a quick second to say "thank you" to our field commissioners, league directors, coaches, and volunteers. They spend a massive amount of personal, unpaid time executing this season for over 1,300 local athletes. Even when a tough official's call or rule doesn't swing your way, a little appreciation goes a long way!
Thank you for an incredible 2026 season, and we can't wait to see you back on the gridiron next year!

Every kid deserves the chance to hear the whistle blow, run onto the field, and feel the unforgettable thrill of being part of a team. But for dozens of children right here in Southeast Idaho, that dream is cut short before the season even starts simply because their families cannot afford the registration fees.

Every year, between 30 and 40 local kids—many raised by hard working parents, living in disadvantaged neighborhoods, or belonging to families drowning in unexpected medical debt—are left watching from the sidelines.

You can change that today.

You can make a profound difference in a child's life by participating in our special raffle. Every single dollar raised goes directly into our Scholarship Fund, ensuring that no child is ever benched by financial hardship.

By entering our raffle, you have the chance to win an authenticated, framed NFL jersey signed by Idaho’s own Taysom Hill. More importantly, 100% of your ticket purchase goes directly to our Scholarship Fund. You aren't just buying a chance to win sports history—you are giving a local child a season of hope, belonging, and joy. Please support our young athletes today and help us keep their dreams alive.

Welcome to the SIYFL Family!

🏈A Proud Tradition: We’ve been bringing communities together since 1968 as one of the largest youth sports families in the Northwest!
- Growing Together: Thanks to our incredible community, we've grown from 600 players in 1996 to over 1,300 amazing athletes in 2026.
- 15 Communities, 1 League: From Firth to Malad and everywhere in between, our dedicated league directors work hard to welcome every single child.
- Non-Profit Heart: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, everything we do is fueled by community donations, affordable registration, and volunteer care.

👕Coaching with Kindness & Character

- Top-Tier Mentorship: Our coaches train with national leaders like the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS), USA Football, and the Positive Coaching Alliance.
- More Than Just Football: Every season starts with mandatory training focused on respect, positive communication, and building up our players.
- Safety Certified: As proud USA Football members, our head coaches complete rigorous Tackle Certification to teach safe, proper techniques.
- Concussion Awareness: We led the state as Idaho’s very first league to build an official concussion safety protocol with Portneuf Medical Sports Medicine.

🛡Top-Tier Safety That Fits Your Budget

- Big Investments in Safety: We invest $80,000 to $85,000 every single year to keep our gear in absolutely perfect condition.
- Premium Head Protection: We buy 150 to 175 brand-new, top-rated 4- and 5-star Virginia Tech rated helmets each season.
- Certified Reconditioning: Another 150 to 175 helmets are professionally reconditioned annually to beat strict NOCSAE standards.
- Zero Hidden Gear Costs: We provide "head-to-toe" equipment and a professional photo package so your family doesn't have to buy extra gear.
- Play for Free! Kids can sell local business raffle tickets to fully earn back their registration fees—making football accessible to everyone.

💭Smart Rules & Dedicated Medical Care

- Pro Care on the Sidelines: We partner with Portneuf Medical Center, Bingham Memorial Hospital, and Specialized Physical Therapy to put certified athletic trainers at many of our games.
- Fair & Safe Weight Classes: We strictly enforce weight limits to protect smaller players and keep the games safer and fun.
- Innovative Collision Control: Our hybrid kickoff rules and special "X-Man" rules keep the focus cutting down high-impact collisions.
- Tailored for Little Athletes: We use smaller fields and shorter quarters for younger divisions so kids can learn the game at their own comfortable pace.

👕Professional Play & Safe Game Days

- Varsity-Level Officiating: Our games are called by NFHS-certified high school referees from Idaho’s District 5 and 6, who bring ultimate fairness and integrity to the field.
- Family-Friendly Fields: We partner with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Department, First Line Security, and local police to keep our game environments safe and welcoming.
- Positive Sportsmanship: Our trained team is always on hand to ensure spectators keep things encouraging, friendly, and respectful for the kids.

✨Big Dreams & Team Spirit

- The Ultimate Championship Experience: Our players get the unforgettable thrill of playing their championship games inside Idaho State University's beautiful ICCU Dome!
- Powered by Volunteers: A massive team of 350 coaches, 20 board directors, and 12 field commissioners give their time completely for free to support your kids.

- One Big Team: While we might not always agree on every referee call or rule, we are always united in doing what is absolutely best for our young athletes!

- Pride: We take immense pride in running a program that USA Football and families across the region recognize as one of the premier youth sports organizations in the nation. We are so glad your family is a part of our team!
