Explore the outdoors with the Bond County Junior Master Naturalists! 🦋

Do you have a youth who loves nature, wildlife, and exploring the world around them? Join us for the Bond County Junior Master Naturalists program this fall!

Participants will learn alongside our Master Naturalists training class and hear from local experts.

4-H members and families—join us for an afternoon of STEM fun!

Bond County 4-H is excited to host 4-H Movie Day: Robotics Adventure on Thursday, July 16 at the Globe Theatre!

From 1:00–2:00 p.m., youth will participate in a hands-on LEGO Robotics Challenge, where they'll build, create, and problem-solve while exploring robotics and engineering concepts. No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and imagination!

After the activity, families can relax and enjoy a family-friendly movie on the big screen together.

We will be meeting at the Bond County Fairgrounds at 9:00 a.m. on June 13 to help the Bond County Fairboard get the fairgrounds ready for the upcoming Bond County Fair.

This is a great opportunity to give back to our community, earn service hours, and help support an event that means so much to local families and 4-H members each year!

As we kick off the first day of June, we're looking back on a fantastic month of May in Bond County 4-H! ☀️

Our members stayed busy learning new skills, making memories, and building friendships. We had a wonderful Puff Quilt Workshop where youth worked on creative projects for the fair, a Livestock Photography Workshop that helped members sharpen their photography skills, and our Teen Leaders enjoyed a Leadership Retreat at Bond Camp filled with team-building, leadership development, and plenty of fun!

Thank you to all of our volunteers, instructors, parents, and members who helped make these events possible!

Bond County 4-H will be hosting a Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) Workshop on:

📍 Kaskaskia College – Greenville Education Center

This training is required for youth participating in livestock projects.

Little Roots 4-H Garden SPIN Club – Summer Schedule is Here! 🌱

Our very first Little Roots meeting took place last Saturday, and what a great start! Youth got their hands dirty, planted our garden boxes, and kicked off what is going to be an exciting summer of learning, growing, and giving back.

We’re excited to share that Little Roots is open to all youth—you do not have to be a current 4-H member to come check it out! Join us this summer at the Bond County Senior Center/Food Pantry in Greenville as we care for our garden, learn about plants, harvesting, and more.
