These worms were in those poor dumped puppies belly's. Worms kill puppies and kittens every day! IF you know who dumped them say so.

These 2 female puppies were dumped downtown Pocahontas in a blue tote at our unstaffed building. They were found and ended up at City of Pocahontas Animal Control. Reports of a black jeep dumped these babies during this deadly heat!

We now have these twin girls. They enjoyed a bath and a run in the grass yesterday afternoon. They've had their DA2PPA, Bordetella, Wormer, Flea and Tick. After they pass a good bill of health, they will be up for adoption or rescue!

Thursday July 23rd, we found an EMPTY blue plastic tote with dog f***s outside of our building on West Pyburn Street in downtown Pocahontas. The puppies that were dumped in that tote were found and brought to City of Pocahontas Animal Control. There was a report of a black jeep in front of our building when these puppies were found.

We now have these puppies! Please, if you have any details let us know! Those poor babies could have died in this summer heat!

We are very saddened by the passing of our great friend and past Board of Director, Rhena Liebhaber. Rhena had a huge heart for the animals! She fostered and transported numerous dogs and cats. If there was an animal in distress, Rhena didn't hesitate to come to its rescue. She assisted with animal abuse cases and her testimony in court once helped convict a man of animal cruelty. The animals and our volunteers will greatly miss our friend in rescue. May she be welcomed at the Rainbow Bridge by the very animals she so selflessly served.

We're deeply grateful to Rhena's family for suggesting donations in her memory to our organization.

OBITUARY

Rhena Liebhaber, 69, of Reyno, passed away on July 18, 2026, at her home. She was born on November 2, 1956, to Forrest and Gladys Palmer. Rhena was registered nurse for over 30 years in Northeast Arkansas. She was passionate about helping animals and rescued many animals in her area, but her greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Liebhaber; sister, Joyce Morrow.

Loving survivors, her son, Brody (Rethalee) Morrow; grandchildren, Nathan Morrow and Natalee Morrow; brother Forrest H. “Buddy” Jr (Desiree) Palmer.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 24, 2026, 11:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church in Corning, with Ralph Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Engleberg.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.

Pallbearers will be, Forrest H. “Buddy” Palmer, JR., Curt Alphin, Steve Liebhaber, Nathan Morrow, Brad Morrow, and Brett Morrow.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials in Rhena’s name to, Randolph County Humane Society, 112 W. Pyburn St, Pocahontas, AR, 72455, St. John’s Catholic Church, 4650 Engleberg Rd, Pocahontas, or the First United Methodist Church, 600 Pine, Corning, AR, 72422.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
