Plymouth Pioneer Cemetery Heritage Roses

Plymouth Pioneer Cemetery Heritage Roses Volunteer organization to rescue, preserve and protect heritage roses in the historic Plymouth Pioneer Cemetery, located in the heart of Gold Rush country.
(10)

Pioneer Cemeteries along the Gold Rush Trail used to be filled with heirloom roses, planted in the 1800s by pioneers in memory of their loved ones. Over time, most of these heritage roses fell victim to neglect, improper pruning or damage from modern herbicides. The Plymouth Pioneer Cemetery is one of the few remaining Pioneer Cemeteries that still contains some of these historic roses. Plymouth P

ioneer Cemetery Heritage Rose Group was founded in July 2015 to help rescue, preserve and protect the remaining historic roses that adorn it's pioneer graves. The Plymouth Pioneer Cemetery is located in the heart of the gold rush country, in Plymouth, California.
