Join your Friends to plant a Rain Garden at Salina Elementary in Dearborn! 🌱Rain gardens are designed to collect, absorb, and filter rainwater run-off. Planted with deep-rooted native Michigan plants, they reduce the amount of polluted rainwater that would rush down the storm drain and cause erosion and flooding in the Rouge River. The Michigan native plants used in these gardens will also add colorful blooms and create food and habitat for native wildlife. 🦋

Date: Friday, May 29
Time: 10 AM - 1 PM

No gardening experience necessary. We provide all the proper planting instructions, tools, materials, and gloves. 💧
