Good morning, friends and patrons! The library 📚is closed for in-person services today. We have several volunteers from the United Way of Wyoming Valley here to clean and spruce up the library before our Summer Reading programs begin!

This year's theme for Summer Reading is

Plymouth is the 3rd smallest library in the Luzerne County Library System, so this day means so much to us, as we do not have paid staff specifically for cleaning and maintenance.

Good afternoon and happy Monday, friends and patrons! It's a cloudy day and it's a bit muggy outside; great weather to read in the AC! Stop in, we're open until 7pm today!

Registration for Summer Reading and our summer programs begins this coming Saturday, June 13th! Miss Judy and Miss Laura will be at the Plymouth Borough shred event (free to Plymouth Borough residents) that day to provide folks with all the info they'll need!

Thank you so much, Becca and everyone at Plymouth VFW Post 1425! Your support is truly overwhelming and we are so proud to serve this community!

The VFW’s support from their bingo last year helped the library 📚 purchase headphones 🎧 for our children’s computers and an additional shelf for our children’s room to hold our ever-growing Parent/Teacher collection! We also bought several books on wars and veterans!

Happy Thursday! Tonight is our celebrity bartender night! Miss Laura, Director of the Plymouth Public Library will be serving beverages from 6 to 8. All tips collected for Miss Laura will be donated back to the library during the NEPA Gives Campaign. There is a common misconception that the library is fully funded by our government. While they do receive some funds, it is not enough to cover their budget. They rely on our community & their support. Let's show up for Miss Laura & the library! $3 Bookworm Mixers tonight. (Blueberry Schnapps & Sprite) We open at 5 with Becca behind the bar. Stop by!

Sometimes, when you're a small nonprofit, buying the supplies for fun programs can be tough, especially when you want to keep these programs free for the residents of your community.

Your donations during NEPA Gives tomorrow and Friday help us continue providing programming for all ages. Who says you have to be a kid to have fun?
