Tuesday’s featured guest speaker was Todd Zeltwanger from the Cultivate Food Rescue Program. Currently, the program rescues food from over 70 donors and redistributes that food to over 200 partner agencies and 83 schools. Last year, Cultivate rescued over 15 million pounds of food and produced over 12,000 frozen meals a week. Cultivate Cares Food Network takes food and redistributes it to others who provide help for those who are food insecure.
