I got a call tonight.. "how's dexter and the chics" haven't seen pictures of them. Tomorrow Lolo and I well get video of all of them. So, ya'll can see them. Until then.. here's a little bit to get you by.
You can always make an appointment to come visit them. They are very tame. If you time it right. You can even collect your own eggs to take home.
One veteran stopped by and got some. Lolo brought goose eggs. I gave them to a Vietnam veteran today. His eyes got as big as those eggs. His smile was big. He was so excited to go home and try them. He drove all the way from south bend to visit. Makes my heart smile when the little things make them happy 😊
So greatfull and peaceful.

Shout out to Blissville Church !

Several of our homeless veterans had attended a church in Plymouth ( i wont mention the name) only to be told by its members not to come back unless they dressed appropriately. These are Vietnam Veterans who are homeless and cant afford church clothes.
I mentioned Blissville Church ⛪️
They attended church. Not only did they enjoy the sermon. But! The congregation gave them hugs, made them feel welcome and even offered them a ride. Of course they refused as they enjoyed the country scene. They wanted to express how much your church made them feel accepted. Thank you pastor Shellie Burns Jankowski . Your congregation showed compassion, love and understanding ❤️
They will be back. Thank you for showing them.. They are not alone.

The good news keeps rolling in. One more for the books. This veteran stumbled upon us as our door dasher. He delivered our pizzas only to discover he was a homeless Veteran living in his car. After 6 weeks, he has risen. He now has his home and was able to trade in his car and get a new to him vehicle. He stopped by tonight to share his good news. Great job on being the duck!
That's what its all about.

I'm thrilled to report that you're now fully informed about our recent adventures 🤪. Today marks Thursday, and over the past few days, we've been dedicated to supporting veterans through mental health checks, providing valuable resources, and ensuring they attend crucial appointments. Some of these brave individuals were struggling with manic episodes, depression, anxiety, hallucinations, and moments of delirium. I'm deeply proud to share that each of them sat down with us for one-on-one conversations over a cup of coffee, realizing they're not alone in their journey. With professional guidance, they came to understand their story is far from over. A little rest, proper nutrition, and care helped them regain their footing and smile again ☺️. Our mission was fulfilled, and we're grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.

Our Chicks4vets program is thriving with joy, and it's all thanks to the incredible enthusiasm of our participants! The girls AND Dexter were absolute stars last Saturday, basking in the love and attention ❤️. The seamless collaboration between Um2, its partners TrueTop1Percent Resources, and the Vet Center was truly a masterpiece. Not only did our participants get to connect with, care for, and delight in the company of the girls, but they also poured their hearts into creating their own version of the experience. The artistic masterpieces that emerged were nothing short of breathtaking 👏. The sun shone brightly on a day that was truly fulfilled, as we had the privilege of meeting new Veterans who were introduced to our services for the first time. Dexter and the girls reveled in every moment of the affection they received.

My guys were hard at work knocking out vehicles this past week. The team work they demonstrated fills my heart ❤️ they had one breakdown last night and came to the rescue after they worked thier full time jobs.
They are simply amazing 👏 good jobs guys! In the weeks we were shut down, our guys pushed out 10 cars!
They love the time they get to work with each other and makes them happy to see the joy on the heros face knowing thier car is back in working condition.
