Many times, the monastery gets food and other items in bulk. We repackage them before handing them out. To do this more efficiently, the monastery needs a vacuum sealer.

If you have an extra one you are not using, could you bring it to the monastery any afternoon? We will start using it that day, and the next day, and the next day.

The Amazon list has a few other items the monastery's homeless outreach ministry needs.

The greatest miracle is not raising the dead, but rather, it is feeding those who are hungry.

"We welcome everyone brought to our doors or whom we encounter on the streets at the guidance of Christ. Regardless of religious affiliation or faith, whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Atheist or of no faith, all are warmly welcomed at Christ's table. Our service is without exception – all are invited. We extend our help to the homeless, those on the brink of homelessness, the marginalized, and the impoverished, who have been overlooked and unseen. We assist individuals and groups to help them advocate for themselves."

We provide basic necessities like food, clothing, shoes, diapers, toiletries, and a hot meal to help ease the burdens of those in need. This allows them to use their money for essential expenses like rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation. Moreover, we also highlight uplifting stories of individuals making a positive difference in their communities.

The Monastery of the Holy Martyrs needs your help this weekend. We need a lot of help. To date, only four have been supported, 47% lower than last month. And donations were 20% less than the previous month. There have been only three donations.

Your assistance, prayers, and financial support are indispensable for the operations of this ministry. While the majority of the food is generously provided by community partners, there are recurring monthly expenses to be met. These include fuel, oil, and maintenance for the collection of donated food and personal care items. Additionally, funds are required for the gas and electricity to power the freezers and coolers that store the food before distribution, as well as other miscellaneous expenses.

Please remember: "There is no such thing as a donation that is too small. Remember the widow and her mite. Please consider coming to this ministry aid this weekend. Consider starting your own fundraising team for the monastery. And most importantly, please keep all we serve and all of us here serving in your prayers."
