Hope and Mercy Mission

We are saddened to announce that our team trip for October has been cancelled.

The travel advisory for Uganda is currently a level 4 for a variety of reasons. Our US and Ugandan Directors decided to not risk our team traveling.

We thank those that donated towards this trip and your giving is not in vain. We are planning another trip for the Spring in hopes of accomplishing much of what we had originally planned.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Paul’s trip has been busy meeting with churches, Pastors, Bible Study groups and speaking with children at their Missionary Night during Awanas! He had some help with a few alumni team members 😃

We want to thank you for all of your support and for those who hosted Paul this week!

Paul travels back to Uganda on Friday. Please pray for his trip home.

We are planning a team trip for this November! If you are interested, please reach out! 🇺🇬✈️

Behind every shoebox is someone who cared enough to pack it. On the other side of the world is a child discovering generosity and kindness for the first time. Packing a shoebox has the opportunity to change a child's life, and possibly eternity. 🎁
What's your favorite part of packing a box? ⬇️

Yesterday, Emmanuel Bible Baptist Church held a Celebration of Life for Susan Hoffman.

Sue passed away at the beginning of this month. She was a very important member and supporter of Hope and Mercy Mission. The students at Sunrise were having a small service of their own to remember her.

Sue started a sewing project at Sunrise to teach/make uniforms and dresses for the children. She taught the young ladies how to sew their uniforms in hopes that one day they can get an income with their skills.

Sue played music for the children's ministry and offered medical training when needed.

While we grieve with this loss, we are sure that we will see Sue in Heaven one day!

Half of the team is headed to the airport and will be flying out tonight and will be in the states tomorrow night.

The other half of the team will leave tomorrow night and arrive on Tuesday afternoon. Please pray for the graduation and their journey home. ✈️🇺🇸
