Hey Dive!

Culture has a very clear idea of who wins, what to chase, and how to survive. Jesus had a completely different idea and He laid it all out in the most famous sermon ever preached. Our new series, Collide, is a four-week journey through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, where the values of God's kingdom crash into everything the world tells students to believe. From the overlooked to the peacemakers, from what we're hungry for to the call to be salt and light, Jesus' words hit different and they're still turning the world upside down.

See you Sunday at 6pm!

Hey Dive!

Have you ever had to borrow someone’s clothes or wear someone’s hand-me-downs? You might be able to pull it off for a day. But pretty soon you’ll realize it doesn’t quite fit right. Other people might even be able to tell it’s not actually yours.

That same thing can feel true when it comes to our faith. We’ve all inherited our faith from someone – a parent, church leader, or friend. Over the past few weeks we’ve asked some big questions. But underneath every one of those questions is an even bigger one… and it’s the one we’re landing on today: Do I actually believe this for myself?

As you learn, grow, wrestle, and look at the evidence we need to ask How can I make my faith mine? That’s what we’re going to look at Sunday night at 6pm in our final week of Ask Me Anything! See you there!

Hey Dive!

We're in the middle of a series called Ask Me Anything, where we're wrestling with some of the biggest questions people have about God. A couple of weeks ago, we asked, “Is God even real?” Last week, we asked, “Why does God feel far away?” And today, we're tackling maybe the most difficult question of them all: If God is good, why do bad things happen?

These are not easy questions. This is one that carries a lot of weight because it isn't hypothetical: Bad things do happen, pain and suffering really affect us. So where is God in the pain? We're going to talk about it Sunday night at 6pm. See you there!

Hey Dive!
Have you ever been on a Facetime call, or maybe streaming music or watching a movie and suddenly it just stops working? You start checking your device, the wifi, anything to find out what caused the disconnection.
Since phones, phone signal, and Wi-Fi are such a crucial part of our lives, most of us have had this kind of experience. But have you ever experienced a signal drop in your relationship with God? Sometimes it feels like prayers don't work, Scripture feels boring, and God feels distant.
As we continue Ask Me Anything, we're asking, "Why does God feel far away?"
We're going to see if there are any answers that might explain why God sometimes feels far away and the truths that we need to hold onto when that feeling hits. See you Sunday at 6pm!

Hey Dive!

Have you ever found yourself stargazing when the question pops into your head, "How did all of this get here?"

Maybe you were watching a nature documentary and marveled at the complexities of ecosystems and the cool abilities so many creatures have and wondered, "Why are these things specifically the way that they are?"

We’re kicking off a new series called Ask Me Anything. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to go after the questions that don’t always feel safe to ask out loud. And we’re starting with the biggest one… Is God even real?

We're going to look at the evidence - biblical, scientific, and philosophical - to find out if there really is a reason for God. It's going to be a great conversation. See you Sunday at 6pm!

Hey Dive!

There's no youth group this week - it's Blueberry Festival! Enjoy the extra time off this weekend. Next week we'll return with a new series: Ask Me Anything. This new series will help us wrestle honestly with some of the toughest questions about God, faith, and pain without losing our footing in the faith.

Hey Dive!

It's the final week of our You Be You series. So far we've talked about how God is the designer and definer of our identity, how labels don't define us, and how God has made us each unique in the body of Christ. This week we're asking the question, "What do we do when we sense the 'gap' between who God says we are and who we feel we are now?" When it feels like there's still so far to go, what do we do with that? How do we become who God says we already are? This Sunday is going to be encouraging and challenging!

We can't wait to see you Sunday at 6pm!
