Farm & Wilderness summer camps focus on community, conservation, adventure, & Quaker Values! We focus on community, homegrown fun, and wilderness adventure.

Farm & Wilderness: summer camps for kids and summer programs for teens and high school students rooted in social justice, environmental sustainability, Quaker values, and delicious, locally grown, organic food. We offer a day camp for children 4-10, sleepaway camps for youth 9-14, and summer programs for teens 15-17. Four generations of campers have learned a lifelong love of nature and the joy of a simple, participatory life here in the Vermont woods. We invite you to join us.

🍂🔨🍁You and your crew are invited to F&W's Fall Harvest Weekend October 2-4!

Been seeing content from camp and really feeling the nostalgia? Or maybe you've been hearing so much about this "camp magic" thing and want to try it out for yourself. Now's your chance! Grab your favorite beanie and prepare for an unforgettable weekend.

We're inviting our community to join us for a weekend of work projects, time on the farm, songs, silent meeting, contra dancing, evenings around the fire, and moments we couldn't possibly dream up without you. We can't wait to make new memories with old friends, right back home at camp. Come help us put the garden to bed for the winter!

One of the true treasures from this summer's voyage was Firefly Song's Pirate themed Someday, complete with an all-hands-on-deck transformation of the main lodge into a vessel worthy to sail the seven seas. Ay, me hearties, to be back aboard! ⚓

We're starting a ✨Facebook Only✨ throwback series where y'all help us fill in missing info for photos from our archive (y'all have already been doing this for me, we're just making it official). Could be the year, the camp, the activity, the cabin, or all of the above!

Another school year is starting, so naturally it's time to reflect on the ✨passage of time✨

Here's a photo of the Bear Pit tree by MFR in 2010. It has since fallen into the water (second picture). It remains an iconic part of the Woodward Reservoir and popular exploration spot on Adventure Days, Overnights, and Long Distance Swims.

Here's to change, and the role the land plays in our stories by marking our transformations with its own.

🌟Boys of Summer will be showing at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Film Festival!

This weekend, Aug. 29th, we'll be at the Marquis Theatre for a screening of Boys of Summer!

Join us for the screening followed by a reception with the film's directors and producers from 4-6pm at the Stone Mill just steps away from the theatre!

This is a rare chance to hear directly from the people who made the film and ask them your questions.

🌼Closing out the summer with the biggest Farm & Wilderness gathering of the year is always a delightful gift, and 2026 was a perfect example.

It was a mix of:

🎡Classics (SO much dancing, hauntingly awesome SAM skit)
🌟Debuts (alumni jam sesh, Plymouth FD cookout)
🕰️Milestones (the decade-swap of 2016 & 2026 time capsules)

🍓And that's just scratching the surface. Thank you for showing up and showing out! It was a colorful day celebrating a vibrant summer. I know I had the time of my life with y'all.
