Farm & Wilderness Camps Farm & Wilderness summer camps focus on community, conservation, adventure, & Quaker Values! We focus on community, homegrown fun, and wilderness adventure.

Farm & Wilderness: summer camps for kids and summer programs for teens and high school students rooted in social justice, environmental sustainability, Quaker values, and delicious, locally grown, organic food. We offer a day camp for children 4-10, sleepaway camps for youth 9-14, and summer programs for teens 15-17. Four generations of campers have learned a lifelong love of nature and the joy of a simple, participatory life here in the Vermont woods. We invite you to join us.

This past weekend, Flying Cloud alum came together to honor Flying Cloud's past, and prepare the land to welcome in campers for our inaugural summer of The Clearing.

In the words of Director Adair Arbor:

"Thank you for your labor in preparing the space for new campers.
Thank you for your generosity in sharing what you’ve learned over many seasons about how to operate this site well.
Most importantly, thank you for your trust in the future of this program, and for all the kind words and well wishes you shared with me as we prepare to launch The Clearing ...
Here’s to the next generation of young people who will love this land, run barefoot across it, holding their candles in the dark woods, finding their place in the ecosystem here. I can’t wait to see it all unfold."

Firefly Song Director, Former Camp Parent, and Current Camp Staff Parent Clarissa Thompson has likely been in your inbox this week sharing her personal relationship with Affordable For All's goal: to make camp feel possible for every family.

"We publish exactly what families will pay based on their income. We mean it for ALL families. In 2025, nearly 50% of campership went to families earning $75,000 or less. That kind of transparency and accessibility is rare, and we are proud of it.

When camp is truly accessible, everyone benefits. Our campers grow up alongside kids from different backgrounds, different stories, different lives. The staff who are drawn to work here come because of our values — equity, inclusion, integrity — and they see those values lived out in who shows up. That's what makes F&W different. That's what makes it matter — not just for the families who receive campership, but for every single person in this community. In 2025, F&W provided over $750,000 in campership support to more than 250 campers. None of that happens without you.”

It’s a goal that constantly challenges us an organization to do more, do better, and offer our summer experience to as many families as we can while never cutting corners.
