As we head into the weekend, we wanted to lift up why it is so important to make a practice of reading with the little ones in your life. Growing minds thrive when read to regularly for many reasons. ABOUT 313Reads

313Reads is a collaborative effort and the backbone of the effort is supported by a partnership with Brilliant Detroit and the United Way for Southeastern Michigan in leading the National Campaign for Grade Level Reading in Detroit. The Campaign fosters rich partnerships, bringing together foundations, nonprofit partners, business leaders, government agencies, states and communities across the nation to ensure that together we mobilize community around all children reading at grade level by third grade.
