🍅🌶️ Fresh from the Garden to the Table! 🧅🥣

Friday afternoon, our fourth-grade classes put their Garden Program to delicious use by making fresh salsa with tomatoes, jalapeños, and onions they grew themselves! 🌱

Each student had a special job within their group, working together to follow the recipe instructions and turn their garden harvest into a tasty snack to share! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

What a fun, hands-on way to practice teamwork, follow directions, and enjoy the fruits (and veggies! 😉) of their labor! 🧡🐾

After school club is ALWAYS an adventure!

Tonight we had the pleasure of making bookmarks, eating hot dogs, competitive tower building with spaghetti noodles and marshmallows and a very competitive game of kickball was played!

More marshmallows may have been eaten than built with but we all went home happy!

🎃 We’re excited to bring another fun event to Parkview this year! As a result of the students absolutely crushing our school wide reading goal, we are hosting a Trick or Treat and Costume Parade at Parkview!

If you love Halloween, we could use your help! We’re looking for volunteers to help make our event a fun and successful event for our students.

🎃 Volunteer Date: Friday, October 30

The more volunteers we have, the more trick or treat stops we can have for the kids!

🎃 Time: 2:00 PM until the end of the school day

Can’t volunteer your time? No problem! Small monetary donations or event supplies are just as appreciated and help make this event possible.

🧡🖤 Today we're excited to deliver more than 400 "It's a Great Day to Be a Panther" t-shirts to Parkview students and staff! 🧡🖤

This project was made possible through the incredible generosity of local businesses and community supporters.

A very special thank you goes to our Parkview family members employed by Sargento. If you recently checked the box to make a donation to Parkview through a Sargento giving program, your support is what started it all! We received an unexpected donation check over the summer and immediately knew we wanted to use it to bring a little extra Panther pride to every student and staff member.

Thanks to that gift, along with the generosity of several additional community sponsors, this project came to life. We are so grateful to each business that contributed and helped make school spirit possible for every Panther at Parkview.

🧡 Thank you for investing in our students, staff, and school community! 🖤

And if you're joining us in the Homecoming Parade on Friday, we'd love to see you proudly wearing your new Panther shirt!

It's a great day to be a Panther! 🐾🖤🧡
