Today, we didn’t just say goodbye to our fourth graders—we also said goodbye to a piece of the heart of Parkview.

This morning, we celebrated Mrs. Josephs and her incredible 31-year teaching career. What a gift it has been to have her impact generations of students, families, and staff throughout her time at Parkview.

As part of the celebration, each third grader gave her, her flowers sharing a favorite memory or something they love about Mrs. Josephs. Together, their words created the most beautiful bouquet—one built from kindness, laughter, memories, and gratitude. As students shared their reflections with the entire school, there were plenty of smiles, plenty of tears, and a reminder of just how deeply Mrs. Josephs has touched the lives of those around her.

The stories highlighted everything we know and love about her: her patience, her sense of humor, her caring heart, and the way she made every student feel seen, valued, and loved.

Mrs. Josephs, Parkview has been incredibly lucky to call you one of our own. Your legacy is woven into the fabric of this school, and the classroom of love, laughter, and learning you leave behind will be impossible to replace.

Thank you for 31 amazing years of service, dedication, and heart. We wish you nothing but happiness in retirement—you have certainly earned it. 🧡🖤🍎✨

The Fourth Grade Clap Out is a time-honored tradition at Parkview—a special moment when our entire school comes together to celebrate the students who are moving on to their next adventure at Riverview.

As students and staff line the halls to cheer them on, our fourth graders take one final walk through Parkview, soaking in the memories, friendships, and experiences that have shaped their elementary years. And of course, our fourth grade teachers get to enjoy their well-earned victory lap after helping guide, teach, and inspire approximately 45 amazing students along the way!

We wish each of our fourth graders the very best as they begin their middle school journey at Riverview. Keep working hard, chasing your goals, and embracing new opportunities. We can’t wait to see all the ways you’ll continue to grow and thrive.

And remember—you’ll always have a home at Parkview. Don’t forget to stop back and visit your favorite teachers and staff whenever you get the chance. Once a Panther, always a Panther! 🧡🖤🐾

What a day for Parkview! ☀️🧡🐾

Today was all about celebrating our students and their families at the park, and what a fantastic time we had!

There was kickball, mini golf, a delicious lunch grilled by Mr. Hunt, and most importantly… POPSICLES! 🍦

The winners of our Silly String the Principal raffle had an absolute blast cashing in their winning tickets and covering Mr. Hunt in silly string today. The smiles and laughter made it a memory to remember!

Events like this don’t happen without incredible support from our school community. A special thank you to the Voight Family, the Searl Family, and all of our amazing volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly. Your time, effort, and generosity helped create a wonderful experience for our Parkview families.

If you’re entering fourth grade (through eighth grade) student wants to learn more about Select Soccer through PlymouthSC tomorrow is the last Select Prep Open Play Session!

PlymouthSC is hosting free Select Prep Open Play sessions for kids entering 4th–8th grade. Players will be split into their age groups and will train with our coaches and other players in a positive, high-energy environment. It’s a great way to:
- Meet potential teammates
- Get to know the coach and our program
- Ask questions before committing to tryouts

🕔 Time: Boys Session 5:00–6:30 PM | Girls Session 5:30–7:00 PM
📍 Location: U10, U11, U12, and U14 fields, Quit Qui Oc Soccer Complex, Plymouth
