Pack 117 had a great day at the annual Pilgrimage hosted by Cradle of Liberty Council yesterday in Fort Washington St. park. The kids learned what it was like as a soldier in the Washington's colonial army back in the 1700's. Great job by all of our council members who help organize and run the event!

Today the scouts of Pack 117 got to visit Reach Climbing Gym in Bridgeport for some rock climbing and bouldering! It was an awesome experience and we can't thank the coaches enough for their guidance. The scouts had an amazing time!

Pack 117 would like to express a hearty thank you to Lt. Patrick Mark and the Phoenixville Police Department for the educational tour they gave us last month!

The Scouts got to try on real police gear, see a squad car, and event check out a prison cell! One of our scouts was so excited, he tried to handcuff himself to a bench so he could stay longer!

Here's a quick update on some of the great things Pack 117 has been up to this fall:

We visited Hawk Mountain and observed the beautiful lookouts. We fished and searched for fossils while camping at the Beltzville Dam. And we toured the US Naval Academy in Annapolis before watching Navy Midshipmen defeat USF Bulls in college football.
