🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Every day in EMS, we're reminded just how important our health really is

This month, we stand with those fighting breast cancer, those who have fought it, the families and friends walking beside them, and those we remember

But awareness is about more than wearing pink
It's about taking care of yourself
It's about knowing your body, keeping up with recommended screenings, and talking with your healthcare provider about what's right for you

Because sometimes, taking care of everyone else means we forget to take care of ourselves

🎀 Early detection matters
🎀 Get screened
🎀 Encourage the people you love to do the same

To the fighters, the survivors, the families, the caregivers, and everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer........
This month, we wear pink for you 💗

Sunday Q & A Session

You ask the burning questions, and we bring the answers straight from the front lines! 🚑

What happens if someone is unconscious and EMS doesn’t know who they are?

Our main priority in any emergency situation is patient care. We do not delay patient care if their identity is unknown. Law enforcement assists us with identification in these situations

Stay tuned for next week’s question - your curiosity drives us!

Don’t be shy - send your question to [email protected] and we’ll spill the facts in an upcoming Sunday Q & A Session

On Friday, September 25, Plymouth Community Ambulance Association was honored to take part in Ambler Savings Bank’s Day of Giving 🚑

During the event, Plymouth Community Ambulance Association was presented with a generous $1,500 donation in support of our organization and the work we do in our community.

We are incredibly grateful to Ambler Savings Bank for investing in the local organizations that serve our communities every day.

It was also an honor to stand alongside so many wonderful organizations doing important work throughout our area.

Community supporting community. That’s what it’s all about. 💙

Thank you, Ambler Savings Bank, for supporting Plymouth Community Ambulance Association and the community we are proud to serve.

It's that time of the year when the costume may be cool and spooky....but it shouldn’t be dangerous 🎃

Before your little ghosts, superheroes and princesses head out, take a minute to check their costumes

👻 Make sure costumes fit properly and aren’t dragging on the ground

🧙🏻Add reflective tape, glow sticks or small lights so children can be seen

🧛🏻‍♀️Choose face paint instead of a mask that may block their vision, and keep costume props soft and flexible

👹 Don’t forget to check the label for flame-resistant material—especially on costumes, wigs, masks and capes

💀A quick costume check before heading out can help prevent trips, falls, burns and other Halloween injuries

Have a fun and safe Halloween! 🚑🎃
