Last night parents, friends and families celebrated the hard work and successes of all our scouts at the June Court of Honor. One of the traditions of our troop is that upon making a new rank a scout receives flowers to give to a parent in honor of their support. In addition, we thank some of the leaders who have served the troop and are transitioning to new roles.

On this Memorial Day, please take a moment to honor and remember those who have served our country and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
This morning, scouts from our Cub Scout Pack 216 - Plymouth Meeting and BSA Troop 216 B/G - Plymouth Meeting assisted the Conshohocken- Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Post 1074 with replacing flags on Veteran's graves at Calvary Cemetery.

Scouts had fun and adapted while facing the challenges of rain, power outages, more rain, mud, bears, high winds and a colder than expected second night. (Yes you would think a power outage would not affect a camping trip but it does when you are "lucky enough" to have a bathroom with some electricity.)
Best quote of the trip was when we did part of the Ricketts Glen water fall hike a scout commented how "the trail was even a waterfall."

We had four scouts make rank this week. Three made Scout and one made Tenderfoot. Well done!
