Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society

Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society Welcome to the Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society page! Why Join? This happens, though, only if you attend our meetings.

We are the local liaison to the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. As the grass roots nonprofit optometric organization, we are perhaps the most important organization to which a local optometrist could belong. At our meetings, you will get to know your colleagues, earn continuing education credits, learn about legislation that affects your career, get upd

ates to the practice of optometry and make life long optometric friends. We offer regular meetings five times each year along with social events and one-day continuing education seminars. Meetings are on Wednesdays or Thursdays and are held at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA, which is convenient to the turnpike. Formal meetings consist of a wine and cheese reception followed by dinner and a continuing education lecture. During our business meeting after the lecture, you will learn about the latest legislation being considered in the Pennsylvania State Senate and House and on the national front, as well as developments with Board Certification. Membership in Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society provides networking opportunities for those seeking employment or employees and acquisition or sale of an optometric practice. In addition, members can count on others to help out in case of a medical emergency or disaster. Our COPE approved continuing education courses are presented by respected members of the optometric and medical community, and are the best bargain in town. Our social events range from cruising down the Delaware to seeing the Phillies from box seats to attending murder mystery dinners. There seem to be lots of laughs when we all get together. Please join us and strengthen our society with your membership.
