Our longtime partners at ASTM International hosted a Co****le for Cancer Tournament in support of FPS last week. Since 2005, ASTM employees have found meaningful ways to rally around our mission and help provide Respite Experiences for families facing cancer.

This year, employees came together for an afternoon of friendly competition, team building, and making an impact for families who need a chance to step away from cancer and focus on what matters most.

A big shoutout to all the teams who joined in and helped make the event such a success! And congratulations to our tournament winners who took home custom co****le bags courtesy of Mann Bags.

September 22 marks the first official day of autumn, bringing changing leaves, crisp air, and a gentle invitation to slow down and enjoy the beauty around us. 🍂

As we begin this beautiful season, we’re looking forward to welcoming new families for respite next week. We hope this season offers our FPS families, both new and returning, opportunities to enjoy nature, breathe deeply, and recharge from navigating their cancer journey.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday for our 27th Annual Peter R. Bossow Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament! We hope you enjoyed a day full of camaraderie and beautiful fall weather while playing for a meaningful cause at Commonwealth National Golf Club and Old York Road Country Club .

We are incredibly grateful to our golfers, volunteers, committee members, sponsors, donors, and supporters who came together to make this year's tournament a tremendous success. Thanks to your collective generosity, the event raised more than $175,000 to provide Respite Experiences that create hope, joy, and lasting memories for families navigating the challenges of cancer.

When I wrote “Strong Like Mom”, I wanted to give parents a gentler way to talk with their children about hard things.

I also wanted the book to make a difference beyond its pages. 🐘

That’s why a portion of the proceeds from “Strong Like Mom” benefits For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation 💛

For Pete’s Sake supports families facing cancer, giving them opportunities to step away from the weight of cancer and spend meaningful time together. Knowing this story can contribute to that work makes sharing it with other families even more meaningful to me.

This book began with our family’s experience, and I’m grateful that its purpose can now reach beyond our own story.

For the past 20 years, Alan’s leadership and generosity have made an extraordinary difference for FPS and the families we serve. Thank you, Alan, for always saying yes. Yes to championing respite for families affected by cancer, yes to workplace giving and team-building events, yes to helping build Pete’s Dream, and yes to making philanthropy an integral part of your company’s culture. Every yes brought healing, hope, and meaningful support to an FPS family when they needed it most. We are deeply grateful and privileged to have had your steadfast support, and we will miss you greatly. Our love and sympathy are with everyone at Phillips who is mourning your untimely passing.

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my uncle, Alan Phillips, who led and shaped Phillips Corporation for more than five decades.

For more than 58 years, Alan devoted himself to Phillips and to the manufacturing industry he loved. His vision, curiosity, belief in possibility, and extraordinary belief in people helped shape Phillips into the company it is today.

To so many of our customers, Partners, vendors, and friends around the world, Alan was much more than a business leader. He was a trusted partner, mentor, challenger, and friend. His legacy lives not only in what he built, but in the countless people whose businesses, careers, and lives he influenced.

Alan cared deeply about the future of Phillips and thoughtfully prepared the company for its continued leadership and success. I am deeply honored to carry that responsibility forward alongside the extraordinary people of Phillips.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, I want our broader Phillips community to know this: Phillips remains strong, our mission remains clear, and our commitment to the people and organizations we serve is unwavering.

Alan believed deeply in human potential and in our ability to accomplish more than we thought possible. That belief will remain at the heart of Phillips and continue to guide us for generations to come.
