As we sit and reflect what God did in Romania and read the encouraging messages from missionary women, we are humbled that God would place a message “in our hands” and entrust us to carry it to His daughters in Eastern Europe. Our theme “open-handed” was shared by a number of speakers in a variety of ways. And as the Holy Spirit does, He allowed it to mean so many things to those walking in valleys or mountaintops. His Word from Romans 12 and Job 1:21 was at moments convicting, challenging and SWEET to us as the Spirit met and ministered to each of us!

The Lord is surely in this place as we evaluate our grip and remind ourselves, it all belongs to the Lord. Open-handed! Beautiful times in God’s Word today as well as comfort and conversation around tables.

All 50 M’s are HERE in Romania!! What a sweet opening service as the body of Christ worked together! Pray for the message tonight to linger in hearts and minds and soften any stony ground as we gear up to receive more tomorrow.

God has been so good to us - from weather to precious time ministering “one to another” and sweet Sunday morning prayer time. We enjoyed great prep times in our ministry roles and time to stop to see the rich history of Cluj at the Salt Mine. (Romania is beautiful and the people very kind!)

When in Rom(e)ania!! So much fun prepping for retreat, praising the Lord all materials and gifts made it, rain was not an inconvenience and Romanian trinkets enjoyed by all. And we met our missionary contact, Ilja, in person!

After 3 flights, we arrived to SUN in Romania! The team of 15 and ALL luggage has made it safe and sound. Here’s to enjoying the journey with those God called to serve together for this special week. Can’t wait!
