🌟 Highlighting Our Heroes 🇺🇸

We are proud to recognize Francis "Inky" Coulson as part of the District's Highlighting Our Heroes series.

After graduating from Plum City High School, Inky answered the call to serve by joining the Army Reserve in 1959. He served six months on active duty and more than five years in the Reserves, achieving the rank of Sergeant while serving with a Pontoon Bridge Company.

Inky's dedication to service continued long after his military career ended. As a member of American Legion Post 365, he has spent decades volunteering at Memorial Day programs, serving as a bugler, helping with fish fries, announcing Summer Festival ballgames, and supporting countless community events.

Now 89 years young, Inky continues to help friends and neighbors whenever he can. His lifetime of service, generosity, and commitment to others truly embodies the spirit of the American Legion.

Today we honored and remembered the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
Thank you to everyone who joined Plum City Frank Gilles American Legion/Auxiliary Post #365 for our Memorial Day cemetery ceremonies and program. Your presence helped make the day truly meaningful.
We are grateful to our Legion family, volunteers, community members, and all who helped pay tribute to our fallen heroes.
