Heavenly Father, when our days feel heavy, keep our confidence in you. Thank you for sending Jesus, who carried our sins and sorrows to the cross. Forgive us when we trust in other things, and hold us by your Word. Give us rest in your promises. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Trunk or Treat is coming up, and everyone is invited! 🎃🚚

Join us on Saturday, October 24th, from 2 to 4 PM for an afternoon of games, hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Kids (and grown-ups!) are welcome to come in costume or just as you are.

It’s free, no sign-up needed, and you are encouraged to bring a friend or neighbor.

We’re looking forward to spending a fall afternoon with you.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the children you have placed in my life. You claimed them in Jesus and gave them forgiveness and a place in your family. Help me lead them in your way with your Word and prayers they can hear. Forgive me when I am too busy or too tired to point them to Christ. Heavenly Father, thank you for the opportunities you give me every day to do good to others. You did good to me when I deserved nothing. In Jesus, your Son, you gave me forgiveness, life, and a place in your household of faith. Forgive me when I have walked past a need I could have met. Give me endurance to serve, strength to be kind, and courage to pray bold prayers for others. Keep me in your Word, and let my small acts of kindness point to Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This weekend we begin our three-week stewardship series, focusing on godly use of our time. Psalm 139:16 tells us all our days are numbered before even one of them came to be. As forgiven children of God, may we use our days to show people the love of Jesus, who forgives our sins and brings eternal life!

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son to take on flesh and save us. He trusted You perfectly and loved us all the way to the cross. Forgive us when we trust ourselves instead. Keep us in what we have learned, received, and heard, and let it show in our homes and in our care for one another. Be with us as the God of peace, for Christ is our peace. In Jesus’ name we pray.
