🥎 TOM DROHNER SOFTBALL CLINIC🥎

Don’t miss your chance to learn from one of Wisconsin’s most accomplished softball coaches! SPASH Head Softball Coach Tom Drohner is hosting the 2026 Tom Drohner Softball Clinic — a 2-day skills clinic designed to help young athletes improve their game and build confidence on the field!

🔥 Coach Drohner, along with former and current players, will provide instruction focused on proper mechanics and fundamentals to help players sharpen their softball skills!

📍 Where: Goerke Field – Stevens Point (Right next to PJ Jacobs)
📅 When: Wednesday, June 17th & Thursday, June 18th

Good evening PWYA Families!
We are looking for a few more athletes for our 14+15 Boys Baseball Summer League!

We are currently going to have two very large teams, but are right on the border of being able to have a third team - which means more time out in the field for everyone!

The Boys 14+15 League is a co-op with the Stevens Point Youth Baseball Association. Games will be played Tuesdays and Thursdays on the full-sized 60/90 diamonds at Woyak Park and Bukolt Parks. The season begins Tuesday, June 2nd and is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, July 14th.

If your athlete is not signed up but tried and liked Middle School Baseball and wants to play more - or if they have friends that might want to join them - encourage them to get signed up today! Rosters will be selected in the next few days.

Gary's Hot Dog Reviews at Woyak Sports Complex!

⚾️ & 🌭

Baseball and hot dogs have been bringing people together for over a century. That statement was true over this past weekend! I spent time on Friday umpiring for these fine young men of different teams. They actually played in different games that I was umpiring; I'm unsure if they played against each other this past weekend at all.

Naturally, through normal conversation, my hot dog page came up during the games. Players from each team asked me questions, and they thought that a hot dog review page was super cool. I agree!

On Saturday, I had a game break, and I saw this fantastic group playing hacky sack. When they saw me, they all yelled, "GARY!" and gave me high fives. The one player from Plover came up, put his arm around me, and said, "do you guys know Gary? Do you know he has a hot dog review page? He's the best, coolest umpire ever!". The Wausau guys all smiled and said, "yeah, we know Gary".

After showing everyone some old school hacky sack tricks, we talked about hot dogs and baseball for a minute, exchanged some bro-hugs, and I proceeded to the concession stand for my much needed hot dog.

⚾️ & 🌭 Baseball and hot dogs have been bringing people together for over a century and continues to to be a catalyst in that area today! I am thankful for the opportunity to share my passion for both!
