The donations have still been rolling in! We were able to donate the last masks to the school district, and they were SO VERY appreciative!

We are at 17,000 masks donated! I can’t thank you all enough for everything you have done.

I was also nominated and will be receiving the Pointer Impact Award from UWSP. I’m so proud. Please know that I will be thanking every single one of you for your participation in this project because you helped make it happen. It takes a village, and boy are you a great one.

Sharing this info from the SPASD Asst Superintendent. They are taking mask donations for kids returning to school. Ear loop design preferred over ties. If you’d like to donate, drop off at Bliss Educational Services Center attn: Amber Haferman.

If you make masks, please consider donating too! If masks are like mittens, kids will go through several 😂

When we started this group in March there were very few to no places to get face masks in Central Wisconsin. Since then masks are available at most stores and via several other FB groups and sellers.

Has our group completed its mission? Is it time for us to celebrate a job well done?

With the new mask mandate we are inundated with requests at this time. I just gave out our last kids masks to YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow and we do not have enough masks to meet the adult mask requests.

I have stocked up the front porch with loads of new fabric, t-shirt ties and elastic. If you are willing to sew more masks we are in great need.

I can’t express my gratefulness for all you have done to make this project the success it is.
