🌎❤️ Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at New Day FSC! 🇨🇺🇭🇳🇸🇻🇦🇷🇨🇴🇪🇨🇩🇴🇵🇷🇲🇽🇧🇴🇬🇹🇪🇸🇧🇷

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our Hispanic Heritage Potluck & Chat! We had such a wonderful time coming together as a community, sharing delicious food, learning about different cultures, and enjoying great conversations!

A special thank you to Daisy for preparing the delicious flautas and horchata, two traditional Mexican favorites! 🇲🇽

🌮 Flautas are a popular Mexican dish made with rolled tortillas filled with ingredients such as chicken or beef, then fried until golden and crispy. The name flautas means “flutes” in Spanish because of their long, rolled shape.

🥛 Horchata is a refreshing drink with roots in Spain that became a beloved part of Mexican cuisine. Mexican horchata is traditionally made with rice, cinnamon, sugar, and sometimes vanilla.

We also want to thank our amazing community members who brought in their own delicious dishes to share! Every dish brought something special to our table and gave us an opportunity to celebrate the different cultures and traditions within our community.

Thank you for making this celebration so special! We love bringing our community together through food, culture, and meaningful conversations!
