Paws 4 a Cause

Paws 4 a Cause Paws 4 a Cause began in 2014 with just seven therapy teams. These teams visit nursing homes, schools, libraries, hospitals, shelters, and courthouses.

A group of volunteers and their trained therapy dogs who visit nursing homes and hospitals, bringing joy and laughter to residents. Paws 4 A Cause is a R.E.A.D. affiliate that provides assistance dogs for reading therapists. We've are also the first Courthouse Dog/Handler teams in Clarion and Venango County.

While this does not directly affect us today, it could very soon. We are all for rescuing pets but the choice should be yours to make!
Please call, it only takes a second and it is so very important.

Anyone can call, please don't think this doesn't pertain to you because you don't live in NJ....first it's NJ then the next State and next. Piece by piece the AR groups and HSUS just chip away and march forward slowly taking away all dog ownership rights. Great example; the Killer Whales at Sea World, they got their foot in the door...it's just a matter of time.
New Jersey Breeders Take Action
Something horrible is going on in the State of NJ. Bills S3041 passed both the senate and the assembly. Guess what this means NJ. You can't choose the type of dog you want. You can have a rescue, but forget getting a pure bred from a good breeder. Sorry if you want that type, but the State of NJ has decided for you, nope, no breeders here. What's next. Like red wine.

So what's really behind all this? Sen Lesniak decided to run for Governor and he's backed by the Lobbyist Group HSUS (Humane Society of the United States). In case you thought they helped shelter dogs, you would be wrong. They are a lobbyist group with an agenda to end breeding purebred dogs among other radical ideas.
So if you want to have a purebred dog some day and live in the State of NJ call the Governors office and ask him to please veto the bill. BTW, they aren't taking names so anyone from anywhere can call. The number is 609-777-2500 and politely ask that he veto S3041. Please call during normal office hours; no voicemails are taken.
And finally, please, please don't vote for Lesniak for Governor. I don't care if you vote democrat or republican but please vote pro dog choice..
Please Share if you want the right to choose your own dog.
