What a year it has been for LifeWise Academy!

As our 2025–2026 school year came to a close on May 1st, we’ve been reflecting on all God has done through LifeWise this year. From Bible lessons and scripture memory to games, laughter, friendships, character building, and meaningful conversations — it has been a joy to watch students grow each week.

A special congratulations to our 4th graders, who celebrated their final year of LifeWise with a pizza party! We are so proud of them and thankful for the time we’ve had investing in their lives. We pray the truths they’ve learned continue to stay rooted in their hearts for years to come. 🍕❤️📖

We are incredibly thankful for our teachers, volunteers, donors, prayer partners, bus drivers, schools, churches, and families who make this ministry possible. It truly takes a community.

Even though this school year has ended, we are already excitedly looking ahead to next year and all that God has in store! Thank you for being part of the mission of bringing the Gospel to students during the school day.

Last night was truly an incredible Evening of Impact. ❤️

We are so thankful for the opportunity to come together as a community with one purpose—to lift up Christ and share the life-changing impact of bringing God’s Word to students through LifeWise.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the evening possible:
• Barry and Jodi Poling for so generously providing and catering a wonderful meal
• The Oakthorpe church for hosting our event
• Our amazing teachers, volunteers, and board members who pour into this ministry week after week
• And to each of you who attended, prayed, supported, and gave—we are deeply grateful

Because of you, lives are being impacted, seeds are being planted, and hearts are being pointed to Jesus. 🌱

✨Pleasantville 1st Grade✨
Last week in LifeWise, our first graders enjoyed a special review lesson! We spent time revisiting what we’ve been learning about prayer and how much God loves to hear from each one of us.

We talked about the story of Elijah and how God spoke to him in a gentle whisper, reminding us that God often speaks in quiet, personal ways.

To help encourage time with Jesus at home, the children made door hangers for their bedrooms as a special reminder for their own prayer time. It was a sweet and meaningful way to connect what we’re learning in class to their everyday lives!

✨ Evening of Impact – Table Hosts Needed ✨

Our Evening of Impact on April 24th is coming quickly, and we are praying that God will use this night to expand the reach of LifeWise in our community. This is more than a fundraiser—it’s a night to share stories, celebrate what God is doing, and invite others to be part of changing the lives of local students.

We are currently looking for a small group of Table Hosts who would be willing to help make this evening welcoming and meaningful. A table host simply:

• Invites 6–8 friends, family, or community members
• Shares why LifeWise matters to you
• Helps guests feel comfortable and connected
• Partners with us in prayer for the impact of the evening

There is no pressure to give or ask for donations—your role is to build relationships and create space for others to hear the vision.

If you love what God is doing through LifeWise and would like to help expand this mission, we would love to talk with you! Even if you’re unsure, we would be happy to answer your questions and help you decide if this is a good fit.

What another fun week at LifeWise!

Our Bremen second grade class had a very special visitor… a lamb! 🐑
This fit perfectly with our lesson about sacrificial lambs and how Jesus is the Lamb of God — the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. The students loved seeing and learning in such a hands-on way!

Meanwhile, our Pleasantville first grade class has been studying King David, his son Solomon, and David’s desire to build a temple for the Lord. The children were especially fascinated by the temple model and enjoyed exploring what service to God and worship looked like in Bible times.

We are so thankful for our teachers and volunteers who work so hard to make LifeWise a fun, engaging, and meaningful experience for our students each week!

We were so excited to be back with our Bremen LifeWise 3rd grade class this week after missing several weeks due to weather—we truly missed these students!

This week we learned about Jesus speaking with the teachers at the temple, and how even as a child He demonstrated wholeheartedness in His mission to rescue us from sin. We also talked about how we can be wholehearted in the tasks God has given us, and contrasted what it looks like to be wholehearted versus halfhearted in our attitudes and actions.

The students practiced using their Bibles to search for answers to questions concerning the lesson and discover truth for themselves, building confidence and familiarity with God’s Word.

Our memory verse is 1 Timothy 1:15 (second half):

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”

We are so thankful for this program and for the way it is reaching precious children with the hope of the gospel. Your support helps make moments like this possible—thank you for partnering with us.

✨ LifeWise Pleasantville – 1st Grade

We had a wonderful day with our 1st graders at LifeWise today!
The kids were engaged, thoughtful, and eager to participate.

We learned about God’s faithfulness to King David and how God keeps His promises. We talked about how God promised to bless David’s family—and how God desires to bless our families too.

The students shared about people they love and learned that we can pray for our families and trust God with them. To put this into practice, the kids made prayer sticks and wrote the names of family members and loved ones they want to pray for.

It was a sweet reminder that God is trustworthy, and He invites even the youngest hearts to talk to Him in prayer. 💛
