This past weekend, almost 200 children, parents, childcare providers, and community partners gathered in Pleasanton to celebrate Hively’s 50th Anniversary!🐝

What started half a century ago right here in the Tri-Valley has grown into a village that stretches from Oakland to Fremont, and seeing our community come together to celebrate this milestone was pure magic💛

For Kayla, being a mom is the most important job she will ever have. Through Hively’s child care subsidy program, she is empowered to pour love into her nearly 6-year-old son and provide him with the opportunities she never had.

“My responsibility to him is to pour love into him, protect him, and help him succeed in all aspects of his life”.
