Atascosa County Christmas Elderly Project Target ACCEPT has provided Christmas help for 35 years through the generosity of the people and businesses of Atascosa county.

Our focus is to provide for our older residents. Citizens 60 and older will receive a food voucher and gift blanket.

Our ACCEPT Volunteers heading out this morning to share with our neighbors in Atascosa County, a $75 Voucher to HEB or Lowes to help with Christmas dinner, a blanket, and a card made by the St. Andrew Catholic Church Youth Group. We want to thank all of our donors whose generosity made this possible. Your gifts blessed so many.

This is one of the many groups that supported us this year. Jourdanton 7th & 8th grade NHS held a bake sale (with homemade goodies) at Chile Bandera and raised $1,600 for ACCEPT. Thank you, NHS, for supporting our community and to all who purchased baked goods❣️

ACCEPT voucher pick-ups will be this Friday, the 19th, at the designated location selected during registration. This program is for pre-registered seniors ages 60+ only.

APPLICATIONS FOR ACCEPT 2025 BEGIN DEC. 1

📣Atascosa County seniors age 60 or older can apply to receive a food voucher and blanket Christmas gift. 🎄Here are the location sites and dates:

•Pleasanton: Dec. 5 and 6 at the First Baptist Church Youth Center, 311 Smith St.
•Jourdanton: Dec. 1 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, classroom #1, Hwy. 16 and Maple Street.
•Poteet: Dec. 2 and 3 at the Poteet Public Library, 126 S. Fifth St.
•Charlotte: Dec. 4 and 5 at the Charlotte Public Library, 8 Couser Blvd.

*Please note that hours at all locations will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. If you have questions or would like to donate contact Henry Sanchez at 210-771-7569.
