CityServe of the Tri-Valley Our goal is to both resource and motivate participants toward a future full of stability, self-efficacy, and sustainability.

CityServe exists to serve people in the Tri-Valley by: Caring for people in crisis, Coordinating resources between the faith communities, non-profits, schools, businesses, and government agencies, Connecting volunteers in the local church and community. Our vision is to mobilize mercy and compassion through community volunteers, street outreach and client-centered case management services; this mobilization is designed to humanize human services as our staff and volunteers walk alongside the most vulnerable families and individuals in the Tri-Valley. Our mission over the last decade has been to connect volunteers from the community to opportunities with local non-profits and services providers here in our Tri-Valley. We coordinate resources and efforts with faith-based communities, non-profits, school districts, police departments, businesses, and government agencies in order to create opportunities for intentional collaboration in order to be more effective and impactful in our region. In Short, We exist to CARE for people in crisis, COORDINATE resources and CONNECT volunteers to mobilize mercy throughout the Tri-Valley.

Every Thursday, CityServe brings hope, resources, and a welcoming community together at our Pleasanton Community Pop-Up!

Whether you’re experiencing homelessness, facing difficult circumstances, or simply need a little extra support, YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!

Our weekly pop-up offers:
đź’™ Hot showers and fresh towels
🥪 Lunch and refreshments
🤝 Connections to community resources
🏠 Housing navigation and care coordination
❤️ A welcoming place to connect, be heard, and feel valued

More than anything, it’s a place where relationships are built, dignity is honored, and hope is restored.

💙 BEHIND THE STORY: The Work You Don’t Always See.

Not all of CityServe’s work happens within the walls of our offices. In fact, some of our most meaningful work happens in places most people never see.

Behind every story of hope and stability are countless hours of outreach, research, resource coordination, problem-solving, and, most importantly, building relationships and trust.

It’s showing up in the hard places. Sitting with someone where they are. Listening without judgment. Navigating complicated systems. Making phone calls, searching for solutions, and sometimes facing one closed door after another until we find one that opens.

It’s not always easy. It’s rarely quick. And the journey isn’t always a straight line.

But every person matters. Every conversation matters. Every step toward stability matters.

These photos offer a glimpse into the work happening beyond our office doors. The work that doesn’t always make it into the statistics or success stories, but is often where hope begins.

At CityServe, we don’t just connect people to resources. We walk alongside them, building relationships, restoring dignity, and helping create pathways toward lasting stability.

And sometimes that means getting a little uncomfortable, going the extra mile, and showing up again tomorrow.

Caring for someone you love is one of the most meaningful things you can do, but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and sometimes isolating.

At CityServe, we believe those who care for others deserve care, too!

Through our BeWell with CityServe program, we offer FREE Care Coordination Support Groups for family members and friends caring for a loved one age 60 or older.

These small, welcoming groups provide a safe space to connect with others who understand your journey, share experiences, discover helpful resources, and receive personalized support.

When our neighbors need a little extra support, community kindness can make all the difference. And this week, the LDS Church showed up in a BIG way for CityServe! đź’™

Their generous donation included:

🍽️ 30 meals to nourish our neighbors during Thursday morning outreach at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Pleasanton.

🌧️ Raincoats to help our clients stay dry and protected during next week’s projected rain.

🧥 Winter coats to keep our neighbors warm as the colder months approach.

These donations are about so much more than meals and coats. They’re about dignity, compassion, and reminding our neighbors that they are seen, they are valued, and they are not alone.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the LDS Church for helping us care for our community, one meal, one coat, and one connection at a time. đź’™
