We celebrated 128 years of PTA Advocacy at our PTA Founders' Day Luncheon with in inspiring keynote address by Pleasanton PTA Council's Founding President, Jill Buck; celebrated esteemed Honorary Service Award recipients Cary Fukada, Tessie Gonsalvez, and Lisa Highfill; and acknowleged many dedicated volunteers with over, 5-, 10-, and 15-years of service on a PTA/PTSA board. Thank you to all you do to improve the lives of all children and families.

Exciting news!

The Pleasanton PTA Council is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Excellence in Education Awards Program.

All current Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) employees are eligible to be nominated.

The two award categories are Classroom Teacher and At-Large (PUSD employees other than classroom teachers, such as principals/VPs, nurses, school secretaries, counselors, noon supervisors, custodians, and district employees.

Volunteers and recent honorees (those who have received an Excellence in Education Award in the last 5 years) are not eligible for nomination.

Any individual, including students, may make one or several different nominations.

Group nominations (multiple people on the same nomination form) are not allowed.

ALL NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28th

Like other Districts in the State, we are having to realign our budget with the decrease in funding we have available (similar to how you budget a household). This means challenging decisions - learn more about how school funding works (and how it doesn't) and recent changes to be engaged in this important conversation.
