Spend the weekend outdoors with your Cub Scout trying archery, doing crafts, nature activities, and having plenty of fun at Rancho Los Mochos (GGAC).

Adventure is calling!

Current Wolves and Tigers are invited to join us for Wolf & Bear Adventure Camp, a two-night camping experience at Rancho Los Mochos (GGAC) Scout Camp in the beautiful Livermore Hills.

The weekend will be packed with outdoor fun, new skills, and unforgettable memories for Cub Scouts.

Camp activities include:
• Archery
• Nature exploration
• Crafts
• More outdoor adventures

Scouts Needed for a Special Flag Ceremony at the Contra Costa County Fair!

The Diablo Sunrise District – Golden Gate Area Council is calling on our Scouts to step up for an incredible opportunity to serve and shine in front of a large crowd!

We’re looking for Scouts to help present a giant American flag during the opening ceremonies of the rodeo and motorcycle race at the Contra Costa County Fair. This is a powerful way to demonstrate leadership, citizenship, and Scout spirit!

📍 Event Details:
• Dates: May 15 & 16, 2026
• Time: 5:30 PM (Ceremony begins at 6:00 PM)
• Location: Contra Costa Fair & Event Park, Antioch
• Role: Flag presentation during the National Anthem
• Uniform: Full Class A required

🎯 We Still Need:
• 12 Scouts for Friday
• 25 Scouts for Saturday

🎟️ Perks:
• FREE fair admission for the day
• 1 parking pass per participating Scout

🚗 Bonus Opportunity for Troops:
We’re also seeking a troop (or two!) to assist with parking operations:
• Dates: Saturday & Sunday
• Time: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Need: 10 Scouts + 6 adult leaders per day
• 💰 Participating troops will receive a donation from the County Fair
