In the middle of the hardest battles, a single smile can be the most powerful light. Today, on , we’re honoring the incredible resilience of our childhood cancer warriors. They remind us every day that even when things are tough, hope and happiness still have a place.
Help us keep these smiles bright. Whether it’s through a donation, a prayer, or a simple share, you are part of the 'Force' that supports these families.

Support for the emotional journey of pediatric patients

There’s the physical fight,
the treatments, the appointments, the uncertainty.

And then there’s everything else.

The quiet anxiety.
The exhaustion no one sees.
The weight families carry, every single day.

Mental health isn’t separate from this journey.
It’s part of it.

This month, we acknowledge the part
that often goes unspoken
and remind every family:
you don’t have to carry it alone.

Today is May 17th.

Somewhere, a family is hearing the word DIPG for the first time.
By next May, most of them will be living without their child.
That is the truth of this disease.
And it is why we refuse to stop.

The Neev Kolte & Brave Ronil Foundation is fighting for the science, the speed, and the answers our children were never given.

For Neev. For Ronil.
For every child still waiting.

Family holds us together!

Family doesn’t always look the way we imagined.

Sometimes, it’s hospital rooms instead of living rooms.

It’s long days, hard conversations,
and learning to carry more than we thought we could.

But it’s also where strength grows,
where love deepens,
and where no one has to face it alone.

Today, we honor every family
navigating the unimaginable, together.

Happy Mother's Day

Some mothers are holding more
than anyone can see.

The fear.
The waiting.
The endless decisions.

And still—
they show up, every single day,
with strength their children can lean on.

This Mother’s Day,
we honor the resilience of cancer moms—
the ones holding everything together,
even when it feels like it’s falling apart.

Brain Tumor Awareness Month

Pediatric brain tumors are the most common solid tumors in children.

They are also the leading cause of cancer-related death.

And for those who survive,
the journey doesn’t end there.

Behind every statistic
is a child learning to walk again,
a family adjusting to a new normal,
a future that looks different than expected.

Research changes that.

It brings better treatments.
Safer options.
More time.

And right now, it needs more support than ever.

Some Heroes wear Scrubs

Not every kind of care is visible.

It’s in the quiet moments..
a hand held,
a blanket adjusted,
a presence that doesn’t leave.

Nurses carry families through
moments that are anything but ordinary.

Today, we honor the ones who stay.

Fighting like a Jedi!

A hero's strength isn't measured by a galaxy far, far away—it's found right here in the courage of our littlest warriors. 🎗️✨
Today, we honor the incredible bravery of children fighting their toughest battles one day at a time. They remind us that even in the face of darkness, hope is a powerful force that never fades.
Help us be a 'Force for Good' this May the 4th. Your support provides the light these families need to keep moving forward.

Today is — a moment to recognize the millions of patients and families living with diseases that too often go underfunded and overlooked. Although all pediatric brain tumors are considered as rare diseases, it does not receive the same level of attention, research, or funding as adult cancers and other illnesses.

That's why we are proud to have Dr. Misha Mehta on our team. As PBTF's Sr. Director of Research, Misha's purpose is deeply personal — her son Neev passed away from DIPG in 2021. This profound loss has driven her commitment to creating change in the pediatric cancer space.

This year, Misha represented PBTF at the PCX Roadshow, sharing her voice as a patient family, and participated in this year's Childhood Cancer Action Days and the Rare Disease Week, all while supporting key initiatives to advance research that improves survival rates and quality of life for children with brain cancer.

We are grateful for Misha and for every advocate, family, and supporter who refuses to accept anything less than a cure.
