A powerful night in New York City. 🎗️💛

At the 16th Annual Shave for a Cure at Cipriani Wall Street, Sandeep and Rayaan Kolte were honored as 2026 Champions for the Children by the Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation.

This recognition honors their continued commitment to childhood cancer advocacy and to creating a future where every child has a chance.

For Sandeep, Rayaan and Misha, that work is deeply personal. Together, they continue to carry Neev’s legacy forward — turning love, loss and hope into action.

We are grateful to for this meaningful recognition and for standing alongside families in the fight against childhood cancer.

So proud of Rayaan and the young advocates who turned their voices into action at California’s first-ever Pediatric Cancer Advocacy & Awareness Day. 💛🎗️ This is what hope in action looks like.

Youth-Led Advocacy in Action

On August 4, California held its first-ever Pediatric Cancer Advocacy & Awareness Day at the State Capitol, led by the Neev Kolte Foundation with support from fellow CAC2 member organizations Mithil Prasad Foundation, Joey's Wings Foundation , and Unravel Pediatric Cancer.

Youth advocate Rayaan Kolte helped lead the effort from the ground up, including building the event website and registration platform. Alongside fellow youth leaders Athena, Nicholas, Saahil, Veda, and David, he helped coordinate more than 200 legislative meetings for 55 advocates.

Rayaan’s advocacy honors the memory of his younger brother, Neev, who passed away from DIPG in 2021, while helping push for more options and more hope for families facing childhood cancer.

The effort helped secure a dedicated childhood cancer chapter in California’s new 2026–2036 Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan and contributed to Senate and Assembly resolutions recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Our Neev. 💛

So grateful to our friends at ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation for sharing Neev’s story and for standing alongside us in this fight.

This is what collaboration in the DIPG/DMG community looks like. One mission. One community. And so much hope for what we can accomplish together. 💛🎗️

Neev Kolte was a four-year-old boy who was full of life. He loved animals, especially hummingbirds, growing vegetables in the garden, and spending time with family. He was diagnosed with DIPG in August of 2020, and his family fought alongside him for over a year. He passed away when he was just six years old.

His name means foundation in Hindi, and in every sense of the word, that is exactly what he was. He wasn't just the youngest member of their family, but their quiet center. Its glue. The one whose presence made everything feel complete, and whose absence made everything feel different and broken forever.

We appreciate the opportunity to partner with the Neev Kolte Foundation as we work towards our shared mission. Together, we are making a difference in the fight to .
