Iโm honored and excited to be the Head Coach of the 12U D2 Team for the Pleasanton Hawks.
Football has been a big part of my life since I was a kid. I was fortunate to play at both the high school and collegiate levels, and the game taught me lessons that have stayed with me ever sinceโdiscipline, accountability, resilience, and what it means to put the team before yourself. Those lessons shaped the person I am today and are the reason I coach.
Over the past several years, Iโve had the opportunity to coach youth flag football, and Iโve developed a passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. I love teaching the game, watching players gain confidence, and seeing the rewards of hard work and teamwork.
As Head Coach, I want our teams to play tough, disciplined, and fundamentally sound football. Weโll compete every play, hold ourselves accountable, and always put the team first.
While I hope to develop great football players and athletes, my biggest goal is to help build character and develop great young men. If our players leave this program with confidence, discipline, respect, and a love for the game, then weโve accomplished something much bigger than football.
Iโm grateful for the opportunity to lead the Hawks and canโt wait to get to work.
Go Hawks!
Coach G.
