Honor Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day with us. September 27th is an official observance under the U.S. Flag Code (4 U.S.C. § 6) that honors the mothers and families of service members who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is not a federal holiday, but it is one of the designated days when the U.S. flag should be displayed, and in this case, at half‑staff until sunset.
