From 15-Year-Old Volunteers to College-Bound Young Women!

In January 2023, Ava Saito joined Little Miracles at just 15 years old. A few months later, in May, her friend Himani Pulakhandam followed—also 15.

And what a joy it has been to watch them grow…right alongside Little Miracles. ✨

Over the years, Ava and Himani have been so much more than volunteers. They’ve helped with events, public speaking, donation drives, daily operations, computer assistance—and just about every aspect of what we do. Their dedication, attention to detail, energy, and those infectious smiles have been an incredible asset to Little Miracles and have helped us grow into the organization we are today.

Most importantly, our clients love them. Ava and Himani have a special way of making every family feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.

Now, these two amazing young women are heading off to college, and while we will miss seeing them regularly, we couldn’t be more excited to watch what comes next.

We know they will thrive wherever life takes them, and we wish them so much success in this next chapter! 🎓✨

And Ava and Himani…you’re not getting rid of us that easily! We’ll be looking forward to seeing you on your breaks—and, of course, we’ll expect regular updates!

What an incredible Sunday with the Pleasanton Boys Team Charity!

I can’t say enough about this amazing crew. They worked through the heat, filled every order, welcomed donations with smiles, and brought so much positive energy to our donation center.
