When where are the meetings? The pack meetings occur once a month either on a Zoom, at Vintage Hills Elementary School, or at Valley View Elementary school and last about 90 minutes. Den meetings are held once or twice a month, last about an hour, and the time and locations are chosen by
the den members -- some meet in homes, some on school grounds, and some elsewhere. Annual Pack dues are about $165 per child, and covers your child's membership, including a subscription to the magazine "Boys Life". Additionally, a scout uniform is usually purchased the first year a scout participates -- most importantly the shirt, hat, and neck kerchief -- altogether about $50 including tax. Does my child need previous scouting or outdoors experience? NO - Children (boys, girls, etc.) can enter the Scouting Program at any age. Den Assignment is based upon age. Lions: Ages 5

We accomplish this through fun games, activities, camping, hiking, arts & crafts, field trips, community service projects, and other ways. What is in it for the parents? Opportunities to see your child grow and interact with other kids their age. Scouting helps you create the capacity for your child's accomplishments. It also gives the child a sense of team work and belonging. Above all, SCOUTING IS FUN! TRIED AND PROVEN METHODS OF BUILDING CHARACTER, TRADITIONAL VALUES AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP SKILLS ARE WOVEN THROUGH FUN.
