Yesterday morning, Scouting America and the Golden Gate Area Council proudly celebrated the Dog Patch Cabin Dedication at Camp Herms!

What began as a devastating loss during the winter storms of 2023 has been transformed into a nearly completed camping area featuring seven brand-new cabins, upgraded facilities, improved accessibility, and a renewed future for outdoor adventure.

This incredible project would not have been possible without the generosity of our volunteers, donors, contractors, labor unions, community partners, and supporters who donated their time, expertise, and resources every step of the way.

Thank you for helping rebuild more than cabins—you helped create a place where generations of Scouts will learn, lead, explore, and make lifelong memories.
