Something I would like to share.My husband and I are not camper host or employees of the park , we are volunteers. Friends of Stonelick are volunteers that volunteer their time to improve your camping experience with our park. Most work full time jobs and have children or grandchildren.
We work so hard for the park and do enjoy it. But lately I see people throwing trash in their fire pits, moving their fire pits, throwing all their wood on the fire before they leave . Leaving bags of trash and dog messes everywhere.How many actually turn off the lights in their camper when they leave to conserve . Just little things like this mean so so much.Lets all try to do better . The camper hosts shouldn't have to clean ridiculous amounts of trash up..Also after you pull your camper out you might want get out and look . Stuff gets left behind all the time.. bikes. Sports equipment. Camper equipment you name it. The office is great about calling to find the owner of the stuff .. but it would save you a trip to get it and same them from storing it. Remember if you pull out at one. The new camper is coming in at 3. So doing all those sites doesnt leave camper hosts alot of time. Just a few thoughts on how we could all improve.
