Section E1

Section E1 Section E1 consists of 6 lodges in Indiana. We host a Section Conclave each year where Arrowmen in our section gather for fellowship, skills, and training.

The lodges we serve are Nischa Chuppecat, Jaccos Towne, Kiondaga, Sakima, Takachsin, and Kiskakon

Last weekend, Juan had the opportunity to travel to Camp Chief Little Turtle for a Section Officer Visit at Kiskakon Lodge’s Spring Fellowship.

“It was an honor to have spent the weekend in service with Arrowmen who are changing the future of their lodge. As the recent Section E1 Lodge Competition Champions, Kiskakon truly showed why have earned that recognition. During the entire weekend, enthusiasm and pride could be seen throughout.”

This past weekend, the section officers and advisors took a trip to the Indy 500 Top 12 Shootout and the Firestone Fast Six qualifying session for the Indy 500. They spent the first half of the day planning out the year, and the rest of the day was spent at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Golden Arrow of the Month for April is awarded to Ian Norrington and Clara B.

Ian is a Vigil Honor member from Nischa Chuppecat Lodge. He currently serves as Lodge Chief and has previously served as Section E1 Vice Chief for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 terms.

Clara is a Vigil Honor member from Jaccos Town Lodge. She currently serves as Lodge Chief and has previously served as Section E1 Secretary for the 2025–2026 term.

Section E1 is proud to introduce the newly elected Secretary, Elliott Holman!

Elliott is an Eagle Scout from Troop 541 in Vernon, IN. He is a Vigil Honor member and a Founder’s Award recipient of Nischa Chuppecat Lodge 212. Elliott is currently registered with Venturing Crew 2578 in Greensburg, IN. Elliott has served as a chairman and Chapter Chief and is currently serving his second term as Vice Chief of Program in Nischa Chuppecat Lodge. He previously served as Section Secretary in 2024–2025 and currently serves on Thrive as a Lodge Engagement Partner. Elliott is currently a senior at Greensburg Community High School and plans to continue his academic journey at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI, where he plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Native American Studies with a minor in Communication.

“I’m honored and humbled to be elected to serve Section E1 this year! I’m very excited to work alongside Juan and Luke! I’m looking forward to getting the chance to meet each of you, whether that’s at the Section Induction Weekend, a lodge event, or Conclave. I plan to bring new promotional ideas and social media content to Section E1.”

As Secretary, Elliott’s goals are:

- Building stronger communication and engagement across our section.
- Bringing new ideas, such as video promotion, to get Arrowmen excited.
- Starting event promotion early, providing updates on registration, and staying consistent.
- Starting a Section E1 Roundtable.

Section E1 would like to introduce the newly elected Vice Chief, Luke Lamb!

Luke is an Eagle Scout from Troop 43 in Fort Wayne, IN. He is also a Vigil Honor member of Kiskakon Lodge 75. Luke is currently registered with Venture Crew 2349 in Fort Wayne, IN, which he helped start. Before this role, Luke served as both Vice Chief of Membership and Program and currently holds the role of Kiskakon’s Lodge Chief. Luke currently attends Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI, where he's working on a degree in Aviation Flight Science to become a Pilot.

“I’m really honored and excited to be elected as Section Vice Chief. I’m looking forward to bringing members of our section key information with the new Section Inductions Experience in August, and hopefully getting us all on the right track with this big new change. Truly blessed to serve the great people of this section!”

As Vice Chief, Luke’s goals are:

- Make the new Section Inductions Experience as engaging and insightful as possible.
- Get to know members of our section and build connections.

Section E1 would like to introduce its newly elected Section Chief, Juan Hernandez!

Juan is an Eagle Scout from Troop 876 in Michigan City, Indiana, and a Brotherhood Honor member of Sakima Lodge 573. Prior to his election, he served as Chapter Vice Chief, Lodge Vice Chief of Administration, and Lodge Chief, bringing a strong background of leadership and service to the section. Juan currently attends Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, studying Biology and Secondary Education where he continues to grow as a leader and future educator.

“I’m excited to lead our section into its next chapter. For one that’s built on stronger connections, clearer purpose, and a program that will truly prepare every Arrowman for what comes next.”

As Section Chief, Juan's goals are:

- Building stronger lodge to section connections to ensure every Arrowman feels involved beyond their home lodge.
- Leading a strong and effective introduction of the new induction experience.
- Elevating programs and Conclave to strengthen every Arrow men's experience.
