A HUGE round of applause for some pretty amazing people who work behind the scenes all year long to help make Pleasant Lake the special place we all love!

Marsha Sharp, Joe Delaney, Heather Sharp, Randy Troman, Mary Shean & Missy Vandercook — these PLCA members give countless hours of their time, energy, ideas, and effort throughout the entire year to help make our events happen and keep our lake community going strong.

From planning and organizing to fundraising, coordinating, setting up, cleaning up, answering questions, solving last-minute problems, and handling all the little things most people never even see… there is a whole lot of work that happens behind the scenes.

Our fireworks, bands, contests, parades, community events, and so much more don’t just magically happen. These people care deeply about Pleasant Lake and work hard to help keep our little hidden secret the amazing, fun, close-knit community that it is.

Please give Marsha, Joe, Heather, Randy, Mary, and Missy a HUGE round of applause and a well-deserved thank you! We are incredibly lucky to have each of you!

🇺🇸🏆 AND THE WINNER IS… THE “DITTO” HOUSE! 🏆🇺🇸

When your neighbor absolutely understands the assignment and knocks the patriotic decorating out of the park… sometimes the smartest move is to grab a blue tarp, a can of white paint and simply say:

👉 DITTO 😂😂😂

And apparently, Pleasant Lake appreciated the creativity because the Ditto House is officially our Lakefront Patriotic Decorating Contest WINNER! 🇺🇸🎆

Honestly, this is so perfectly Pleasant Lake — festive, funny, a little competitive, and always up for a good time. ❤️🤍💙

Congratulations to our winners! 🏆 And a huge thank you to everyone who decorated, voted, and had some fun with us. We love this community! 🇺🇸🥳

🎆 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🎆

We need to give an extra special thank you to Matt and Traci Bergeon, who year after year devote an incredible amount of their time, energy, and effort to making our fireworks show happen. ❤️

They take care of our launchers, make sure they have everything they need, keep them accommodated, and help with all the behind-the-scenes details that most people never see. There is so much work that goes into putting on a fireworks show like this, and Matt and Traci continue to step up year after year to help make sure our community gets an amazing show. We truly cannot thank you both enough!

And of course, a huge thank you to every single volunteer who gives their time, helps on the water, assists with setup, safety, logistics, cleanup, and all the countless little things it takes to pull this off.

And to everyone who donates — THANK YOU! 🙌 These fireworks are made possible because of the generosity of our community. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue putting on what we truly believe is the BEST show around! 🎇🇺🇸

Township meeting tonight at 7pm regarding adopting a Bubbler/Propulsion Fan Ordinance, as well as discussing additional lake ordinances to be reviewed.

Please go to the meeting; this is where your comments and suggestions can be heard.

Henrietta Township's Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 7 p.m. Meetings are held in the Township Hall's meeting room at 11732 Bunkerhill Rd., Pleasant Lake.
