That's a wrap on Whale Run 2026. πβοΈ
Three days. Three staging divisions. Dozens of aircraft, cargo loads, observation flights, and radio nets β all rehearsing the airlift that could one day be coastal Oregon's lifeline.
None of it happens without people who show up. So, thank you:
βοΈ To our volunteer pilots and aircraft owners who flew the routes
π‘ To the HAM operators who kept every net alive
π¦ To the cargo crews, drivers, and logistics teams on the ground
π€ To OEM, OREM, ODAV, ODF, CAP, FAA, MTI, the Oregon Food Bank, our tribal and county partners, and every NGO and food bank that played
π To the donors and supporters who fuel it all
You didn't just run a drill β you got us more ready for the day it isn't one.
π Already thinking about next year? So are we. Whale Run 2027 planning starts now, and there's a seat for you β whether you fly, operate a radio, load cargo, or keep the logistics moving. No experience required, just a willingness to show up.
Be part of it: odart.org/volunteer
See you on the ramp. π«
