Foster youth scholarships awarded to 40 students!

At VESTIA, we’re honored to stand beside the incredible young people in Contra Costa County who have experienced foster care and are now pursuing their dreams through higher education. Through our Foster Youth Scholarship Program, we’ve proudly awarded $48,700 in scholarships to 40 inspiring students so far this year.

These resilient scholars continue to rise above the many challenges they’ve faced, and we couldn’t be prouder of their determination and achievements. Congratulations to each and every one of you — your strength and commitment are truly inspiring!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our generous donors, in particular the Vogt-Morentz Charitable Fund and the Taylor Family Foundation. Your support is helping build a brighter, more stable future for students who need it most.

GIVE THE GIFT OF WARMTH, & NECESSITY TO FOSTER CHILDREN! Donate warm pajamas, puffy jackets, or gift cards for foster children during the holidays.

It is estimated that between 1,800-2,200 children are in the foster care system in Contra Costa County.
