Appreciate our guys from Summit Builders, Neil Schaurer and Joe Angle. Summit Builders donated all the trim, doors and miscellaneous materials to finish out the refresh lounge and sleeping quarters for the pleasant hill Newton Township Joint Fire and EMS district.

Additionally these gentlemen brought some muscle đź’Ş with them as their sons got in on the action. Leading by example. We appreciate you men and your service to community and others.

This guy is the exemplary model of what community looks like… We want to take a moment to send a special thanks to Jordan Hess, the Hess Family and Site X for their constant community support. Jordan and Site X Donated all primary and misc power requirements for the refresh renovation project for the Pleasant Hill Newton Township Joint Fire & EMS District. Special Thanks to fellow First Responder and owner of Midwest Commercial Services Daniel Quinn and his company for donating materials and labor to the Pleasant Hill Newton Township Joint Fire & EMS Department. The new lvt flooring provides a very functional, comfortable and cool looking finish flooring in the refreshed Lounge and Sleeping Quarters.

A few weeks ago 20-30 Community Members Showing up, Leading by Doing. We appreciate your heart for heart for our community and our first responders. Your efforts pushed the Pleasant Hill Newton Township Joint Fire & EMS District Refresh Renovation of the Lounge and Sleeping Quarters over the finish line!!

The workday efforts included finishing all trim, installing door hardware, final coat of paint, mounting of TV’s, Setting up of Beds & Recliners, Hanging of Pictures, Installation washer and dryer, setting of truck bay cabinetry, Mounting of Window Shades, cleaning, organizing, debris removal, installation of equipment racking and many other activities.

While a ton of work got done and the space completed, the real blessing was in the community that was shared amongst all who were there… Special Thanks to Community Members Jordan Hess, Brent Davis, Brian Leingang, Luke Hall, Joe Angle, Noah Angle, Greenlee Gray, Presley Gray, Lakelynne Gray, Tudor Gray, Stan Fessler, Neil Schaurer, Alec Schaurer, Greg Bayer, Curt Bayer, Jason Tippie, Chris Hemphill & Brady McBride.

This support was in addition to the countless staff members of the Pleasant Hill Newton Township Joint Fire & EMS District who gave of their personal time on a Saturday to connect with community members and aide in efforts pushing the volunteer lead and joint effort between the Village of Pleasant Hill and Newton Township of the Refresh Renovation of the Lounge and Sleeping Quarters.

What an awesome display of community…. of people leading by doing. By showing up, rolling up their sleeves and loving of others.
